January 10 2014, when the Food and Drugs Administration announced to the media that the Nagaraya 160-gram packs with lot number 14019 and expiry date January 24, 2015 was recalled.

It is when the said snack discovered to have high level of Aflatoxin. It is a naturally occurring contaminant produced by mold. These molds grow on crops, especially peanuts, tree nuts, corn, wheat, and seed oils, it can cause liver damage and cancer. 

FDA usually allow acceptable amount of these. They also told buyers that if they have concerns with the said product to contact in the Sales Department of Food Industries Inc. at 810-0141.
